Haiku Review: The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman

Four women, four stories:
The Witch of Moab goes on
When all else is gone.

This book is historical fiction at its best: the kind that makes me want to learn more about the events that took place in 72 CE; the kind that makes me think about the characters long after I’ve closed the books; the kind that tells of a mythology that we have long since left behind.
